The controversy around the Federation’s practices is growing.
All claims have been rejected.
Details: Marca reports that Barcelona did not reply to a letter from sporting director Aitor Karanka, which outlined the Federation’s methods.
Karanka noted that Deco, Bojan, and around 90% of other teams did not respond either.
The letter from the Spanish Football Federation explained that if players show any signs of discomfort, they can leave training or not participate in matches. This was previously the case with Lamine, as well as Yeremy Pino, Fabián Ruiz, and Gavi from Barcelona in the latest squad.
On matchday against Turkey, all players, including Lamine Yamal, were asked if they felt any pain or discomfort, and he confirmed he felt well.
This means Lamine agreed to play and did not report any issues; otherwise, he wouldn’t have taken the field, according to the Federation.
Reminder: Upcoming home matches for Barcelona will take place at Camp Nou.
