There is increasing speculation that Mohamed Salah may have played his last match for Liverpool, with rumors of a possible move from Anfield.
Despite the off-field issues, the team has performed well, securing back-to-back wins to bring some stability to the club.
Salah’s performance against Brighton highlighted his commitment to the team, setting aside personal concerns. Nonetheless, rumors of his departure persist.
While Liverpool supporters remain optimistic about his future with the club, there are indications he could move to Saudi Arabia in January. Upcoming discussions between him and his representatives will be key in determining the next steps.
Former defender Steve Nicol emphasizes the importance of retaining Salah and believes that there is only one winger suitable to take his place if he leaves.

Replacing Salah is a significant challenge. Even the best replacement would find it hard to replicate his contributions to the club.
Nevertheless, Liverpool must plan ahead, and Antoine Semenyo is frequently mentioned as a strong candidate. His £65 million release clause makes him a viable target this winter.
Nicol views him as not just a good fit but perhaps the only real option available. He stressed that any course of action concerning Salah should only proceed if someone like Semenyo is ready to step in.
Discussing Salah’s potential departure on ESPN FC, Nicol stated, “They need to have someone lined up for January.”
When asked about his ideal choice, Nicol quickly responded: “I’d go for Semenyo from Bournemouth, but securing him in January will be tough.
“If they can’t bring him in, then can they afford to let Salah go? The difference down the right flank was clear when he played, especially compared to Joe Gomez, who offered nothing.
“So unless they can sign someone like Semenyo, they can’t let him go.”
Semenyo is undoubtedly a skilled player. The Ghana international has shown promise both last season and at the beginning of this one.
However, it’s fair to say his form has waned recently, with no goals or assists in his last seven league matches.
Salah may have faced some criticism this season while Semenyo has been praised, but both have each contributed nine goal involvements so far.
Semenyo’s speed and dribbling skills could offer a new dynamic to Liverpool’s attack.
