In another match, Brentford climbed to eighth place after a 3-1 win over Burnley. In a match that seemed headed for a draw, Brentford took the lead in the 81st minute with a penalty from the in-form Igor Thiago. However, Burnley leveled the score in the 85th minute as Flemming converted a penalty. The tie was short-lived, as Igor Thiago scored his second goal just a moment later to put Brentford back in front. Dango Ouattara then confirmed the win with a final goal in the 93rd minute.
