October 29, 2025: Kerala Blasters FC is set to begin its Super Cup 2025 campaign tomorrow. In their first Group D match, they will face Rajasthan United FC. The game is scheduled for 4:30 PM at the GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two clubs, making it a crucial match for both sides as they seek a winning start to the tournament. The Blasters have arrived in Goa with a revamped squad, featuring new foreign players and young Indian talent. Under the guidance of head coach David Catala, the team is aiming to secure three points.
Speaking to the media before the game, coach David Catala discussed the team’s readiness: “The team is ready, and the players have been preparing well. The first matches are never easy. Rajasthan United is defensively strong, and we need to be mindful of that. I am hopeful that if we give our 100 percent, we can achieve a victory,” he said.
Captain Adrian Luna added, “Our goal is to secure three points right at the start of this tournament. We will try to adapt to the on-field conditions and play attacking football. Belief in the team and a winning mentality are crucial.”
Kerala Blasters will also face SC Delhi and Mumbai City FC in Group D. With new objectives and a strong competitive spirit, the team is hopeful for a positive start to their Super Cup journey in Goa.
