Malappuram Football Club is set for the second season of the Super League Kerala, with an official launch event planned for Friday, September 26. The event will begin at 5 PM at the Manjeri Payyanad Stadium. At the ceremony, Malappuram FC will present its new players and coach. The tickets for the first home match on October 3 will also be officially launched. The team promoters for MFC will be present at the function.

The chief guest for the occasion will be Prachi Tehlan, a well-known actress and former captain of India’s netball and basketball teams. She will also unveil the club’s new official jerseys for the season. Management representatives explained that the event is designed to celebrate Malappuram’s football heritage and passion before the new season and to create an opportunity for supporters to engage more closely with the team.

The current squad has 26 players, including six international players. The team will be led by head coach Miguel Corral Torreira, a 34-year-old coach from Spain. Cleofas Alex from Thiruvananthapuram will continue in his role as the assistant coach from the previous season. His coaching background includes time with SAT Tirur in the I-League 2nd Division and as the head coach for the Chennaiyin FC reserve team.
