The U17 Africa Cup of Nations is set to run from 25 April to 15 May in Morocco.
Sixteen teams have confirmed their participation in the tournament. These teams are Algeria, Angola, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, DR Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Aside from vying for the championship title, the teams will also compete for a spot in the U17 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Qatar.
