Aron Dönnum faces serious consequences following a match between TFC and Le Havre that ended in a 0-0 draw. The Norwegian player was seen making a gesture deemed racist toward his opponent, Simon Ebonog. According to reports, Dànhm mimicked the gesture “you stink,” which has sparked a strong reaction from various parties. While HAC is calling for disciplinary action, Dönnum’s teammates have come to his defense.
However, this situation may escalate further. As reported by RMC Sport, the ethics committee of the French Football Federation (FFF), led by Frédéric Thiriez, is set to review the case, which will then go before the LFP’s disciplinary commission in the coming days. The incident was highlighted in the referee’s report. Depending on the findings, Dönnum could face a suspension of up to 10 matches, which would mean he wouldn’t play again until 2026.
