The fixtures for the FIFA World Cup Inter-Continental Play-offs have been confirmed. Out of the 48 nations that will participate in the tournament, 42 have already qualified. Four more teams will be decided through the 16-team European play-offs, while the final two spots will be filled via the Inter-Continental play-offs.
In the first play-off semi-final, New Caledonia will host Jamaica. The winner of that match will travel to face DR Congo in the final. In the second semi-final, Bolivia will play against Suriname on their home ground. The victorious team will then play away against Iraq in the other play-off final. The two teams that win their respective finals will qualify for the World Cup. DR Congo and Iraq received a bye directly to the finals due to their higher FIFA rankings.
