The highest-paid footballers in Europe’s top five leagues have been announced, with four Premier League players in the top 10.
GlobalStats reports that Manchester City striker Erling Haaland earns the highest salary among players in Europe’s major leagues.
Haaland’s weekly pay at the Etihad is approximately £525,000, closely followed by Real Madrid‘s Kylian Mbappé at £518,137.
Mohamed Salah ranks as the next highest-paid player in England. The 33-year-old agreed to a new two-year contract with Liverpool last summer, earning £400,000 weekly. His teammate Virgil van Dijk and Manchester United‘s Casemiro both receive £350,000 per week, placing them in the top 10 as well.
The highest-paid English player is Harry Kane, who earns about £414,509 weekly at Bayern Munich.
Notably, five of the top 10 contracts in Europe’s leading leagues are set to expire at the end of this season.
Casemiro’s contract ends this summer, along with those of David Alaba, Dusan Vlahovic, Manuel Neuer, and Robert Lewandowski.
