As we reported exclusively on Monday, several Nice supporters confronted two players and a club executive after the OGC Nice team’s 3-1 defeat at Lorient on Sunday evening. Insults, spit, kicks, and slaps were directed at Florian Maurice, Terem Moffi, and Jérémie Boga, who have since filed a complaint. Various organizations, including the LFP, have spoken out against these actions, with the Ministry of Sports also condemning the incidents.

“I strongly condemn the unacceptable violence directed at the OGC Nice players and officials. I want to express my full support for them. Nothing can justify these actions against individuals who devote their efforts to football every day. These serious incidents, caused by a few individuals, do not represent supporters. I will always defend those who bring life to our stadiums, not those who resort to violence and must be punished for it,” stated Marina Ferrari on X.
