NFL Offers Support to Real Madrid for Recruitment Efforts

Sunday marked a historic day in Madrid as the Santiago Bernabéu hosted its first NFL game in Spain. The match ended with the Miami Dolphins defeating the Washington Commanders 16-13, thanks to a field goal in overtime. This event generated significant revenue for Real Madrid.

According to Defensa Central, the match boosted the image and prestige of the Spanish capital’s club. The net earnings for Real Madrid from hosting this event are estimated to be around €7-8 million, which could also assist with future player acquisitions.
