The promotion to Ligue 1 has sparked a significant surge in membership for the ultra groups of Paris FC. The Old Clan has seen its numbers skyrocket from 40-45 members last season to 235 this year, while Ultras Lutetia has grown even more, quadrupling its membership to nearly 900. The supporters of the promoted team were impressive in their recent match against Lens, winning 2-1 during the eighth round of Ligue 1. This renewed interest can be attributed to the club’s return to the spotlight, the arrival of the Arnault family, and the affordable ticket prices, which are significantly lower than those at Parc des Princes, drawing in new curious fans, according to L’Équipe.
This generational revival has deeply changed the profile of the ultras. While the earlier hard-core groups sometimes consisted of former Parc regulars, most current members are genuine Paris FC supporters who remained loyal during tough seasons in Ligue 2. For both groups, the focus is less on competing with PSG and more on supporting their local club in a family-friendly and passionate atmosphere, as demonstrated by the average of 17,780 spectators at Jean-Bouin this season. This is over three times the attendance recorded at Charléty two years ago.
