The incident involving OGC Nice players Jeremie Boga and Terem Moffi has stirred considerable discussion following an attack by fans on Sunday night. Both players have expressed their intention to no longer represent Nice and have filed a complaint. In the wake of these events, various reactions have emerged, including statements from the club and the UNFP. Nearly 48 hours later, the Association of Ultras Populaire Sud de Nice has also issued a statement, asserting that every effort was made to maintain calm and that no violence occurred towards the players.

The Ultras Populaire Sud Nice wish to clarify the events that occurred on November 30 at the training center, coinciding with the team’s return from a trip to Lorient. The association emphasizes that it was not responsible for this gathering, which stemmed solely from general discontent among OGC Nice supporters due to the team’s poor performance. Certain members of the association worked to de-escalate the situation and disperse the gathering in cooperation with law enforcement. No association member present reported any alleged violence or damage. In this context, the police report verifies that while the atmosphere was hostile towards the players, it does not mention any incidents of violence or vandalism. If acts of violence had occurred, the association would unequivocally condemn such behavior, which has no place in these gatherings.
