This Monday marks the ninth update of the European top scorers’ standings this season. After the international break, the leading goal scorers from Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, and Turkey are back in action. At the top, there have been changes, with Harry Kane regaining his lead following his goal in Bayern Munich’s commanding 6-2 victory over Freiburg this weekend. The English striker has now scored 14 goals in 11 matches.

Trailing behind Kane, Erling Haaland has lost ground after failing to score in Manchester City’s 2-1 defeat to Newcastle, leaving him with 14 goals in 12 games. In fourth place, Kylian Mbappé is still behind the rising star Ayase Ueda. The Japanese striker boasts 13 goals in 13 matches and closely follows the Real Madrid forward, but Ueda has a slight edge with a superior goal-to-minute ratio, playing just 67 fewer minutes.
