The Ranking of Europe’s Top Goal Scorers

This Monday, we present the tenth update of the European top scorers for the season. Following the international break, we see goal-scorers from Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, and Turkey. Harry Kane remains in the lead, as he has been in previous weeks, but he did not score in Saturday’s match against St. Pauli (3-1), keeping his impressive tally at 14 goals in 12 matches.

In second place is Erling Haaland, the Norwegian striker, who has also recorded 14 goals, but in 13 matches. He did not find the net in Manchester City’s 3-2 win over Leeds on Saturday. Completing the podium is Ayase Ueda, with 14 goals in 14 matches. The Japanese striker scored again on Sunday, contributing to Feyenoord’s 2-1 victory against Telstar.

Kylian Mbappé Just Off the Podium

Just behind Ueda is Kylian Mbappé, with similar statistics. The French striker, currently in fourth place, scored a penalty during Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw against Girona yesterday. Igor Thiago holds fifth place with 11 goals in 13 matches, following a double against Burnley (3-1). Paul Onuachu is in sixth, with 11 goals from 13 matches, also coming off a brace against Konyaspor (3-1).

In seventh place is Ayoub El Kaabi, who netted 10 goals in 12 matches, scoring the winner for Olympiakos against Panetolikos (1-0). Eighth is Vangelis Pavlidis, also on 10 goals in 12 matches after scoring against CD Nacional (2-1). Mason Greenwood, in ninth place, has 10 goals in 13 matches but did not score in the 2-2 draw with Toulouse while playing for Olympique de Marseille. Lastly, Chris Bédia rounds out the top ten with 10 goals in 14 matches, adding to his tally against Servette (4-4).

Guus Til (PSV Eindhoven), Eldor Shomurodov (Istanbul Basaksehir), Christian Fassnacht (Young Boys Bern), and Aleksey Batrakov (Lokomotiv Moscow) are just outside the top 10 with 10 goals each. Following them are Luis Suarez (Sporting CP), Joaquín Panichelli (Strasbourg), and Mirlind Daku (Rubin Kazan) with 9 goals. Other notable players include Jonathan Burkardt (Eintracht Frankfurt), Pedro Gonçalves (Sporting), and Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona), each with 8 goals.
