Bayern’s Big Bid: €90M for Olmo to Shake Barca?

Footem.inBayern Munich is reportedly preparing a substantial offer of €75 million (approximately IDR 1.4 trillion) to bring Dani Olmo back to the Bundesliga from Barcelona next year.

Bayern’s Close Monitoring of Olmo

According to Spanish media outlet Fichajes, Olmo might be leaving Barcelona as the Catalan club is considering a sale due to Bayern’s strong interest.

A formal bid from the German giants is expected in January 2026, following months of close observation of Olmo’s situation in Barcelona.

Bayern believes Barcelona would be willing to part with Olmo for €75 million and has made him a key strategic target for 2026.

Dani Olmo: The Story So Far

Dani Olmo previously spent seven years in Barcelona’s academy before moving to Dinamo Zagreb in July 2014.

He then made a name for himself at RB Leipzig, joining the Bundesliga club for around €30 million (approximately IDR 595 million) in January 2020. He returned to Barcelona in August 2024.

Fichajes reports that Olmo is currently weighing his career options: whether to continue pursuing his dream at Barcelona or return to Germany, where he previously won three domestic titles with Leipzig.

Barcelona, looking to improve its financial situation, is reportedly open to selling valuable assets next year. Olmo is among the players who might be on the move.

In addition to a potential return to Germany, the 27-year-old attacking midfielder could also move to the Premier League.

Newcastle United was previously linked with a record-breaking transfer offer for Olmo in September 2026. Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have also been mentioned as potential suitors.

While Olmo has faced challenges replicating his impressive Leipzig form at Barcelona, Bayern apparently believes he can thrive alongside their current stars like Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Diaz.
