Thomas Tuchel Praises Everton’s Left-Back Target as ‘Amazing’

Everton is expected to sign a new left-back during the summer transfer window.

Vitalii Mykolenko is one of six players whose contracts expire next season, prompting Moyes and his team to create a list of potential recruits.

Myles Lewis-Skelly has emerged as a candidate after falling out of Mikel Arteta’s plans, not playing in a Premier League match since January 8th.

“His mindset is perfect. He’s not just physically good, but also mentally strong. Very open, very humble, and eager to improve,” said Tuchel in March 2024.

The 19-year-old still has four years left on his contract at the Emirates, and with only 16 appearances this season, there is increasing speculation that he may leave before the next season begins.
