Sandro Tonali is interested in returning to Italy this summer, despite interest from Premier League teams.
The Newcastle midfielder has recently been linked with a move away from St James’ Park as the team struggles to find consistent form.
Tonali is reportedly willing to leave Newcastle if the club fails to secure Champions League football, as Eddie Howe’s team currently sits in 12th place, 10 points behind the qualification spots.
Manchester United, Manchester City, and Arsenal are watching his situation closely, but Tonali prefers a move back to Italy. According to talkSPORT, he is open to a return to Serie A, with Juventus among the clubs interested in signing him.
However, it is unclear if any Serie A club can meet Newcastle’s asking price, which is estimated to be between £80m and £100m. Only four Serie A transfers have ever exceeded £80m.
