Ruthless criticism! Toni Kroos slams Barcelona for their playing style
The famous German midfielder believes Barcelona is taking significant risks.
An experienced voice has shared insights on Barcelona’s strategy.
Details: On the Einfach mal Luppen podcast, 35-year-old Toni Kroos, a former Germany and Real Madrid midfielder, discussed Barcelona’s style:
“Barcelona has one of the most appealing playing styles in Europe, but they take too many risks. If players like Pedri, Lamine, or Raphinha have an off day, any team can exploit that and eliminate them from the Champions League. We saw this last season against Inter, and they could face another challenging team this year.
After the 75th minute, you notice the players getting tired, yet they don’t change their style to reduce the space. If you’re fatigued and fail to adjust your game, it clearly exposes your weaknesses.” – Kroos stated.
His comments align with Barcelona’s recent struggles, including a 1-2 home loss to PSG in the Champions League and a 1-4 defeat to Sevilla in La Liga.
