Chelsea has remained a hot topic this season, frequently making headlines.
Several players have recently been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
In late December, reports surfaced that Chelsea was interested in Antoine Semenyo but quickly chose not to pursue him.
The most notable news from the club this season revolves around Enzo Maresca’s exit.

On January 1, Chelsea confirmed on their official website that they had “parted company” with Maresca.
It’s reported that Maresca resigned and the club accepted his resignation, catching Toni Kroos by surprise.
During an appearance on Einfach mal Luppen, the German legend stated: “I have to say, though, Chelsea wasn’t on my radar.”
“They actually gained the most points of all Premier League teams in November, which I found surprising. They had also won the Club World Cup last summer.”
After Maresca’s departure, Chelsea appointed Liam Rosenior from their sister club, Strasbourg.
Given Kroos’ well-known opinions, it would be interesting to hear his views on this new appointment.
Enzo Maresca’s future prospects
Maresca would have ideally preferred to stay at Chelsea, where he enjoyed a successful season, winning the Club World Cup and Conference League trophies.
However, his departure might not hinder his career. Reports suggest that Real Madrid holds him in high regard, and he could be considered for their managerial position if Alvaro Arbeloa leaves at the end of the season.
Juventus has also shown interest in bringing him back, making a move to Turin a possibility. No matter where he goes next, it’s likely that Maresca will find another high-profile opportunity.
