Viktor Gyokeres is scoring frequently for Arsenal after a slow start in North London.
The Swedish striker netted two goals as Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 in the North London Derby, giving the Gunners a much-needed boost.
Gyokeres’ goals helped Arsenal maintain a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League, and he has shown impressive form since the beginning of the year.
The 27-year-old has scored 15 goals in all competitions this season, with over half (8) occurring in 2026.
No other player in the Premier League has scored as many goals as Gyokeres across all competitions since January 1st, reflecting his positive performance.
Joao Pedro, who has found the net in five of his last six league games for Chelsea, is next with seven goals. He has contributed a total of nine goals and assists in this stretch.
Anthony Gordon also has seven goals, boosted by his impressive performance for Newcastle last week, where he scored four times in a 6-1 Champions League victory over Qarabag. This result takes Newcastle closer to the last 16 of the tournament.
Gordon became just the sixth player to score four goals in a Champions League knockout round match, with all his goals coming before the break.
