Tottenham Hotspur are considering appointing Sean Dyche as head coach.

Igor Tudor is facing pressure just four games into his caretaker position, with Spurs experiencing four straight losses under him.

The team is on a club-record streak of six consecutive defeats in all competitions and recently lost 5-2 to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

In the Premier League, Spurs have not won in 11 matches and are now just a point above the relegation zone, raising concerns about a possible drop to a lower division for the first time since 1974.

The Independent reports that Spurs are considering replacing Tudor with Dyche for the remainder of the season.

The former Everton and Nottingham Forest manager is seen as a ‘survival specialist’ who may help steady a team that has been struggling significantly.

This move is part of a broader review of the club, with discussions ongoing with Dougie Freedman and Tiago Pinto from Bournemouth regarding potential sporting director positions. Freedman has experience from his time at Crystal Palace.

Dyche’s potential hire would mark another major turnover in a season marked by turmoil. However, the 54-year-old is reportedly hesitant to accept a short-term position, and there could be complications regarding his contract with Nottingham Forest, a rival in the relegation battle.
