Tottenham Hotspur confirmed they will compete in the Sydney Super Cup during their 2026 pre-season tour. The tournament will feature four teams: Tottenham, Chelsea, Western Sydney Wanderers, and Sydney FC.
Spurs will play their first-ever match outside the UK against Chelsea on Saturday, August 1, at Accor Stadium, shortly after the World Cup final in New York. Before facing Chelsea, Tottenham will meet A-League team Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium on July 29.
This summer, Tottenham took their rivalry with Arsenal global during their pre-season tour of Asia. It marked Thomas Frank’s first tour as head coach, succeeding Ange Postecoglou, and coincided with Son Heung-min’s announcement that he would leave the club after ten years.
