Thomas Frank will remain the manager of Tottenham Hotspur for Tuesday’s Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund, despite ongoing discussions about his future.

Frank is facing challenges after a poor start to his time at Tottenham. The team is currently in 14th place in the Premier League and lost to West Ham in a match where they conceded a late goal.

This defeat puts Spurs nine points behind the Champions League spots, with only one win in their last seven Premier League matches.

Frank received boos as he left the pitch after the West Ham game, along with chants calling for his dismissal. Team captain Cristian Romero described the situation as a ‘disaster’.

“At this moment, this is a disaster for us,” he stated. “We have had some good matches and some bad ones. We need to work hard and improve. It’s a tough time for us.”

In European competitions, the team’s performances have been slightly better, currently sitting 11th in the Champions League standings, just behind Dortmund, who are one spot higher. Spurs are only one point away from the top eight that guarantees advancement to the last 16.

While the board is reportedly reviewing Frank’s situation, no decisions will be made before the upcoming match.

The Athletic reports that Frank will hold a press conference on Monday before leading the team against Dortmund.
