A firm stance.
The sudden dismissal of Daniel Levy as chairman of Tottenham has sparked rumors about a possible sale of the Spurs. However, the club’s leadership has different intentions.
Details: Sky Sports reports that PCP International Finance, an investment firm led by Amanda Staveley, formerly associated with Newcastle, made a bid to acquire Tottenham but later withdrew. The club’s board confirmed that they received offers from Staveley and a group of investors led by Roger Kennedy and Wing-Fai Ng through Firehawk Holdings Limited.
However, Tottenham’s management has taken a clear stance: the club is not for sale. Due to takeover regulations, these parties cannot make another bid to purchase a Premier League club for the next six months.
Recall: Earlier reports mentioned interest from Middle Eastern consortiums in Tottenham, but this interest has yet to result in any formal offer.
