Tottenham is seeking to sign a forward in the January transfer window after Mohammed Kudus suffered an injury.
The injury is more serious than initially thought, and Spurs are feeling the impact, especially after selling Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace for £35 million.
According to The Telegraph, Tottenham has funds available this month and is prioritizing a new forward.
The North London club has shown interest in Manchester City’s Omar Marmoush, who has not been getting much playing time this season.
Marmoush has made only two starts in the Premier League, and the expected arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth will add more competition for him.
Spurs had also targeted Semenyo but might now take advantage of his transfer to City by pursuing Marmoush.
Additionally, RB Leipzig’s 19-year-old Yan Diomande is on Tottenham’s radar. The young forward has impressed this season, scoring six goals in ten Bundesliga appearances, attracting interest from other clubs like Manchester United.
However, both Diomande and Marmoush are currently engaged in the Africa Cup of Nations, which could delay any moves.
