Details: A 7-year-old player from Boavista’s youth team died during a training session yesterday, as reported by MaisFutebol.

According to Jornal de Notícias, the child was warming up when he collapsed due to cardiac and respiratory arrest. The cause of this incident is still unknown.

The Boavista club mentioned that the child had passed all necessary medical tests and that his parents and doctors were unaware of any health issues. An investigation into the circumstances of his death is currently underway.

Boavista has announced a three-day mourning period and has extended condolences to the child’s family. Other clubs, including Porto, have also shared their sadness over this tragedy.
