Galaxy need to defeat Durban City to make history in this season’s Cup of Dreams.

The TS Galaxy coach hopes that his team can win the Nedbank Cup, creating a significant moment for the Mpumalanga-based club.

Galaxy has a chance to replicate their victory from 2019 when they won the Ke Yona competition, now facing Durban City in the final next month.

They triumphed over National First Division side Milford FC 4-3 on penalties at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium yesterday, pleasing the home crowd.

“It’s very important for us, for the players, for the coaching staff, for the club to achieve this a second time in our history,” Beganovic said on SuperSport TV.

“Winning a trophy means that our name, TS Galaxy, will always be associated with it.

“I believe we need to accomplish this because our family and our children deserve it. We have worked hard this year.

“We have faced challenges, but I think we deserve to make history this year, and we will do everything to achieve that.”
