"We never got any energy from the fans" - Thomas Tuchel voices disappointment with supporters after win over Wales
Tuchel believes his team deserved better support.
The Wales national team supporters were louder, even as the away team.
Details: England head coach Thomas Tuchel showed his disappointment about the lack of support from the home fans, despite his team scoring three goals in the first 20 minutes:
“The stadium was silent—we didn’t get any energy from the fans, and I think the players did everything they could to earn more support. If you can only hear the Wales fans for half an hour, that’s disappointing, as I believe the team deserved more backing,” Tuchel said.
Yesterday, England secured a 3-0 victory over Wales at Wembley. The scoring began quickly, with Morgan Rogers striking in the 3rd minute, followed by Ollie Watkins adding to the tally in the 11th minute. Bukayo Saka then made it 3-0 in the 20th minute, effectively sealing the win. No further goals were scored, leaving some local fans frustrated.
Reminder: Historic achievement! For the first time in 37 years, England scored three goals in 20 minutes.
