Tottenham manager Igor Tudor praised his team’s draw with Liverpool as an important achievement.
Spurs managed to secure a point against the Premier League champions, thanks to Richarlison’s late equalizer in the 90th minute, following a good play from Randal Kolo Muani. This result ended a six-game losing streak for Tottenham and marked Tudor’s first positive outcome in charge.
Despite the draw leaving Spurs only a point above the relegation zone, Tudor remains optimistic about the team’s survival chances. He noted encouraging signs following the match at Anfield.
“A lot of hard work, the desire to do the right things, and teamwork were evident. We deserved this result,” he told BBC Match of the Day.
“It was challenging, so I’m pleased for the players. It’s never easy to come here.”
“We showed improvement in mentality and the willingness to persevere. That is definitely progress. I can’t comment on overall progress because of our recent performances. But today’s game showed we came here with strong resolve. This is significant for our players,” he added.
