On Thursday, UEFA announced that it had fined Paris Saint-Germain €100,000 after their fans invaded the pitch and set off smoke bombs at the Allianz Arena during the club’s 5-0 Champions League final defeat to Inter Milan.
The European champions were also fined €30,000 for throwing objects, €8,000 for acts of vandalism, and €10,000 for displaying inappropriate messages and damaging the reputation of UEFA.
