Things have been quiet recently at Manchester United as many players, under Michael Carrick, are currently away on international duty this March.

However, it’s important for the Red Devils to secure a spot in the Champions League by the end of the season. This will not only provide significant financial support but also help attract potential players in the summer.

With a home game against Leeds United coming up, Carrick has very few players at the training facility, as most are representing their countries, including Matheus Cunha for Brazil and Noussair Mazraoui for Morocco.

Some young players from Manchester United are also gaining international experience, which is valuable as they step into the broader football world. Louie Bradbury, in particular, has been making headlines due to his scoring ability.

Recently, it was announced that the 17-year-old Bradbury was included in Wales’ MU18 squad for the initial round of the 2026/27 UEFA U19 EURO qualifiers. He has impressed head coach Jon Grey by scoring two goals in a recent match against Switzerland.

Bradbury joined from Shrewsbury Town in early 2023 and quickly established himself as a prolific scorer. He made his debut for the Under-21 team at just 16, following a hat-trick for the Under-16s just ten days prior to his first Under-18 start against Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he also found the net.

Gaining international experience can often propel a young player’s career forward, but those at Old Trafford will want to keep Bradbury grounded. After returning from injury late in 2025, he resumed his scoring form for both the Under-18s and Under-21s.

Currently, he is a first-year scholar at Manchester United, and if his scoring continues at this pace, a swift move to senior football could be on the horizon.
