What the footballer has to say.
Victor Boniface almost joined Milan, but he failed his medical check and ended up signing with Werder Bremen at the last moment. He has now addressed the situation regarding the Italian club.
Details: During a press conference in Bremen, Boniface mentioned that if his physical condition hadn’t been good, he would be in a hospital instead of speaking to the media.
Quote: “What you choose to believe in the media is up to you. I’m not concerned. If my body wasn’t 100%, I wouldn’t be here talking to you. I would be in a hospital bed,” Boniface said.
It was previously reported that the player joined Werder Bremen on loan from Bayer Leverkusen. His loan agreement is set to last until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Reminder: Werder Bremen has had a tough start to the Bundesliga season. After two matches, the team has only one point and is currently in the relegation zone. Their next match is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
