Video: Ferran Torres extends the lead for Barcelona vs Mallorca with controversial goal

Barcelona are defeating Mallorca with a controversial goal from Ferran Torres to extend the lead to 2-0.

Barcelona kicked off their LaLiga title defense with a strong start on the road, taking a 2-0 lead over Mallorca in their opening match. Raphinha opened the scoring before Ferran Torres doubled the advantage, though his goal sparked controversy.

The play developed after a shot from Lamine Yamal was blocked by Mallorca defender Antonio Raillo, who fell to the ground. Despite Raillo lying on the pitch, the referee allowed play to continue, and Torres capitalized to score Barcelona’s second goal. The decision drew protests from Mallorca players, who argued that the match should have been stopped.
