Pule Mmodi, a forward for Kaizer Chiefs, should not be used as a winger, according to his former coach, David Vilakazi.

Mmodi, 29, has scored eight goals in 64 appearances for Amakhosi. While at Golden Arrows, he netted 16 times in 92 matches, playing in a central role as a number 10 under Vilakazi.

“As a winger, he’s not producing the required results. His left-foot crosses are not effective,” Vilakazi explained to KickOff. “He can take on defenders on the left, but struggles to deliver the final pass from that position.
