2026 World Cup Qualifiers : Vincent Harper to play for Kenyan team for the first time
Vincent Harper will be in the spotlight.
Kenya’s Harambee Stars are looking to strengthen their team with new players as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Vincent Harper is among these newcomers.
Harambee Stars head coach Benni McCarthy has included Vincent Harper, a former Bristol City player, in his 23-man squad for the upcoming matches against Burundi and Ivory Coast on October 6 and 13, 2025.
Harper plays regularly as a left-back for Walsall FC in England’s League One. His new club describes him as “explosive” and effective in one-on-one defensive situations.
During the 2024/25 season, Harper made 12 starts and was a substitute 14 times, totaling 1,220 minutes of play. He scored 2 goals and assisted on 4 others.
