Duba, Shabalala, and Ndlovu scored for Chiefs after Mbulelo Wagaba opened the scoring for Orbit College in their PSL match.

Siphesihle Ndlovu secured Kaizer Chiefs’ win against Orbit College this afternoon at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, moving Amakhosi to third place in the PSL standings.

The outcome of the AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United match later today will determine how long Chiefs remain in third place.

This victory in Gqeberha brings Chiefs to 39 points, two ahead of AmaZulu, who held third place before Chiefs’ win, reviving their hopes for a strong finish.

Despite a season of inconsistent performances, the Phefeni Glamour Boys showed up at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Wandile Duba equalized just before halftime after Mbulelo Wagaba gave Orbit College the lead in the 21st minute.

Mduduzi Shabalala scored the second goal for Chiefs seven minutes after the hour mark, putting them in the lead.

Ndlovu added a third goal from outside the box ten minutes later, sealing the win for the Soweto side.
