West Ham from London may soon change their manager. The club’s board is reportedly considering Frank Lampard, who is currently managing Coventry in the Championship.
According to Football Insider, the Hammers’ leadership is unhappy with the team’s performance under Graham Potter. Even after a solid 3-0 victory against Nottingham in their last Premier League match, club officials contacted Lampard through intermediaries.
Lampard took over at Coventry in November 2024 when the team was just two points above the relegation zone. He successfully led them to fifth place in the Championship. This season, his team’s attacking style has been notable, as they are currently the highest-scoring in the league, with 14 goals in just four matches.
It’s interesting to note that Lampard began his career at West Ham, where he played for seven years before transferring to Chelsea in 2001.
