West Ham is evaluating Nuno Espirito Santo’s role as manager after the team’s 3-0 defeat against Wolves.

The Hammers struggled at Molineux on Saturday, facing a Wolves team that had not won any of their Premier League matches this season, extending a winless streak of 19 games.

This loss leaves West Ham in a troubling position near the bottom of the table, four points away from safety.

After replacing Graham Potter with Nuno earlier this season, the club is now considering making another change at the managerial level.

One option being looked at is former manager Slaven Bilic. The Croatian coached West Ham from 2015 to 2017 and also played for the club.

Bilic has been without a job since leaving Al-Fateh in Saudi Arabia in 2024. Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that the 57-year-old is open to returning to West Ham this season if Nuno is dismissed.

Also on the shortlist is Michael Carrick, who left his position at Middlesbrough in June. Carrick came up through the academy at West Ham and made 159 appearances for the team before playing for Tottenham and Manchester United.
