Where to Watch CAFA Nations Cup 2025 Live In India: Schedule, Sqaud, India’s Group Matches

India will play in the CAFA Nations Cup 2025, a regional football tournament hosted in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan from August 29 to September 8, 2025. This is India’s first appearance in the event as a guest team.

The Blue Tigers have been placed in Group B with Tajikistan, Iran, and Afghanistan. All of India’s matches will take place at the Hisor Central Stadium, Tajikistan.

  • India vs Iran — September 1, 2025 | 5:30 PM IST | Hisor Central Stadium
  • India vs Afghanistan — September 4, 2025 | 5:30 PM IST | Hisor Central Stadium

The group winners will advance to the final on September 8, while the second-placed teams will play for third place on the same day.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has named the following 23-member squad:

  • Defenders: Rahul Bheke, Naorem Roshan Singh, Anwar Ali, Sandesh Jhingan, Chinglensana Singh Konsham, Hmingthanmawia Ralte, Muhammed Uvais, Nikhil Prabhu
  • Midfielders: Suresh Singh Wangjam, Danish Farooq Bhat, Thounaojam Jeakson Singh, Boris Singh Thangjam, Ashique Kuruniyan

New Era Under Khalid Jamil

This tournament marks the first assignment for Khalid Jamil as head coach of the Indian national team. The competition provides an early test against Central Asian opposition.
