Zaimovich left South Africa due to the inability to extend visitor visas for his family and has now joined the Persian Gulf club Zob Ahan. Sukazi stated that the decision was made on humanitarian grounds, considering the player’s family situation.
Zaimovich faced an issue with his family’s visitor visas. As a family man, he said, “I can’t stay without my family; if they’re not here, I can’t deliver results.” The club understood his situation. While he was under contract, they opted for a mutual termination due to the human aspect of the decision.
Despite the interest from fans, Kaizer Chiefs had no plans to sign him, as they had already filled their foreign player quota. They recently signed Etiosa Ighodaro, while also having Fiacre Ntwari, Inacio Miguel, Makabi Lilepo, and Flavio Silva on their roster.
