"We want to win, but yesterday it was impossible" - Hansi Flick
Barcelona‘s head coach shares his thoughts on life, emotions, and football.
The aspirations at Barcelona are very high.
Details: The coach of Barcelona, Hansi Flick, was at Oktoberfest at Casa SEAT today as a sponsor. He spoke about his experiences, memorable matches, and Barcelona’s goals:
“The highlight of my time at Bayern Munich was winning the Champions League. It was amazing. Everyone at Barcelona aims for this, and we will fight for it. It won’t be easy, but I promise we will give our all.
Last year was the best of my life. It wasn’t easy, but touring Barcelona on the bus last season was unforgettable. I hope we can win the titles we seek this season too, but again, it’s not simple. We’ll aim for it, we’ll give everything, and if we succeed, I’ll be very happy,” the German coach said.
Flick also explained how the hours leading up to a match typically go in Barcelona:
“First, we have a set-piece meeting and then lunch. After that, both players and coaches take a nap. Before leaving the hotel, we discuss the match plan, and then we head out. While we usually aim to win, yesterday it was impossible,” he added.
Hansi Flick became Barcelona’s coach in July 2024 after leaving his role with the German national team. He has managed 69 matches with Barcelona, securing 51 wins, 8 draws, and 10 losses.
Reminder: Flick advises against excessive focus on Yamal.
