World Cup Qualifiers Schedule: Indonesia Targets Points in Australia

The third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers for the Asian zone is scheduled to start Thursday, where Indonesia will try to gain points in Australia.

Indonesia will play the seventh match of Group C at the Allianz Stadium, Sydney, Thursday at 2.40 PM IST

Garuda is currently in third place in Group C standings with six points from six matches or one point below Australia.

Victory would move Indonesia up to second place, but Australia will surely provide tough resistance and difficulties for Patrick Kluivert’s team.

Next, Japan will host Bahrain at Saitama Stadium, Saitama, Thursday at 4.05 PM IST.

Hajime Moriyasu’s side need a win to secure direct qualification for the 2026 World Cup. But Bahrain will be looking to steal points from the Blue Samurais’ home.

Japan comfortably sits at the top of Group C with 16 points from six matches, while Bahrain is in fifth place with six points.

In Group A, Iran, who top the group, will host the United Arab Emirates at the Azadi Stadium, Tehran, Thursday at 9.30 PM IST.

Meanwhile in Group B, the top of the standings, South Korea, will face Oman at Goyang Stadium, Goyang, Thursday at 4.30 PM IST.
