Yehvann Diouf and the Aiglons are feeling let down. OGC Nice seemed on the verge of leaving the Parc des Princes with a point, but Paris Saint-Germain snatched victory in the last moments of the match with a header from Gonçalo Ramos. The Nice goalkeeper, who delivered an outstanding performance and was named Man of the Match by the FM Editorial Team, shared his disappointment with beIN Sports after the game.
“It’s really frustrating; it came down to just 20 seconds. And I don’t even think they took the kickoff when the referee blew the whistle. So yeah, it’s disappointing. We’ve had several good matches, and we shouldn’t dwell on this loss against Paris. It’s just one match in the season. It won’t define us. Now we have two important games coming up next week (against Freiburg in the Europa League, and then at Metz in the league). We will try to process this defeat, understand it, and review the goal we conceded. We have to move forward; there’s no other option. As for Nice’s good form? We feel confident as a group looking back on everything. We’ve played five excellent matches and collected many points. So, it’s not the end—like I said, it’s just one match in the season. We would have preferred to win or at least draw, but it happened the way it did,” he stated. As the 11th round of matches approaches, OGC Nice currently sits in 8th place.
