The Norwegian national team won big while the Wales beat Kazakhstan in the early hours of Sunday morning in the 2026 World Cup European Zone qualifiers.
According to UEFA records, Norway won 5-0 at the Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau in a Group I match of the 2026 World Cup European Zone qualifiers.
In that match, goals were scored by Julian Ryerson, Erling Haaland, Thelo Aasgard, Alexander Sorloth and Arom Donnum.
The win lifted Norway to the top of Group I with three points from one game, while Moldova finished bottom.
Statistically, Norway outplayed Moldova with 69 per cent possession and 24 shots, eight of which were on target.
Meanwhile, Wales defeated Kazakhstan 3-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium in Cardiff in Group J of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Goals from Daniel James, Ben Davies and Rabbi Matondo gave Wales the win, while Askhat Tagybergen scored the equaliser for Kazakhstan.
The win leaves Wales top of Group J on three points from one game, with Kazakhstan fourth.
Statistically, Wales outperformed Kazakhstan in the match with 72 per cent possession and seven shots on target.
