United States vs Paraguay

The United States got off to a flying start at the 2026 World Cup , with the hosts securing a 4-1 victory over Paraguay.

    In the match at Los Angeles Stadium, the US scored an own goal from Damien Bobadilla, two goals from Folarin Balogun, and one goal from Giovanni Reyna to determine the US victory.

    Paraguay scored a goal in return, scored by Mauricio Prado.

    Germany vs Curacao

    Germany secured a convincing victory over debutants Curacao. Die Mannschaft won 7-1 at Houston Stadium.

      Germany scored through Felix Nmecha, Nico Schlotterbeck, Kai Havertz (2 goals), Jamal Musiala, Nathaniel Brown, and Deniz Undav. Curacao responded with a goal from Livano Comenencia.

        Yasin Ayari scored a brace for Sweden, with Alexander Isak, Victor Gyokeres, and Mattias Svanberg also scoring. Tunisia responded with a goal from Omar Rekik.

        Iraq vs Norway

        The Norwegian national team secured a major victory against Iraq. The Vikings defeated the Lions of Mesopotamia 4-1.

          Norway’s goals were scored by Erling Haaland (a brace), Leo Ostigard (a goal), and Aymen Hussein (a own goal). Iraq responded with a goal from Hussein.
