FIFA President Gianni Infantino has announced a significant change to the format of the 2026 World Cup final.

Details: According to Luiz Carlos Largo, for the first time ever, the final match will feature a Super Bowl-style halftime show. Infantino explained that this initiative aims to globalize football and engage new audiences, turning the sporting event into a major cultural phenomenon.

Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, will headline this landmark performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The show will be produced by Global Citizen, an organization known for its large charity concerts and collaborations with world leaders and top artists.
