Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has delivered disappointing news ahead of a crucial La Liga fixture against Getafe. During the pre-match press conference, Flick confirmed that Brazilian winger Raphinha, a key attacking player for the team, will not be ready to return to action.
Flick stated that both Raphinha and Marc Bernal are currently not training with the squad, confirming their absence for the upcoming match. This situation poses a significant challenge for the coaching staff, given Raphinha’s impressive form this season, having scored 19 goals and provided 8 assists in 31 appearances.
“We are monitoring their condition on a daily basis. I hope the situation will improve significantly by the start of next week,” commented the German coach.
