Fulham manager Marco Silva has announced that midfielder Alex Iwobi may not return to action until the end of the season. The Super Eagles player sustained an injury during Fulham’s recent 0-0 draw against Brentford.
During a press conference ahead of their upcoming match against Aston Villa at Craven Cottage, Silva expressed his disappointment regarding Iwobi’s condition. He indicated that the absence of a key player like Iwobi would significantly impact the team.
“Really bad news to lose a player like Alex Iwobi. It’s difficult to say a timescale, but back before the end of the season,” Silva told a press conference on Friday.
