The Italian specialist has truly earned the spotlight.
Chelsea continues its search for a replacement for Liam Rosenior, who was recently dismissed from his position. According to TEAMtalk, the London club is seriously considering Francesco Farioli, the 37-year-old Italian head coach of Porto, as a potential successor.
Farioli’s impressive performance in his debut season at Porto has garnered the attention of Chelsea’s management. Reports suggest that the “Blues” hierarchy remains undecided on a new head coach candidate, with Farioli standing out as a strong option.
Since taking charge in the summer of 2025, Farioli has led Porto to an impressive record, nearing the league title in his inaugural campaign. Under his leadership, the team has played 50 matches, securing 37 victories, 8 draws, and 5 losses. His contract with Porto extends until 2028.
In addition to his current role, Farioli has managed several other clubs, including Karagümrük, Alanyaspor, Nice, and Ajax.
